Kale Shakes: Because Eating all these Fruits and Vegetables would be Boring

Kale is being called “the new beef”, “the queen of greens” and “a nutritional powerhouse.” Here are a few benefits of adding more kale to your diet:
- Kale is low in calorie, high in fiber and has zero fat.
- Kale is high in iron, Vitamin A, Vitamin C and Calcium  (more calcium than milk)
- Kale is high in Vitamin K. Eating a diet high in Vitamin K can help protect against various cancers.
- Kale is filled with powerful antioxidants. Antioxidants, such as Carotenoids and Flavonoids help protect against various cancers.
- Kale is a great anti-inflammatory food. One cup of kale is filled with 10% of the RDA of omega-3 fatty acids, which help, fight against arthritis, asthma and autoimmune disorders.
- Kale is great for cardiovascular support. Eating more kale can help lower cholesterol levels.

Kale shakes are a great way to feed your body and mind which leads to making you more alert, lose weight, and really wake you up in the best way possible. Eating kale and a lot of vegetables and fruits can become really boring and time consuming, so why not just throw everything in a blender and knock out all your fruits and vegetables servings right from the begin. Then you only have to worry about getting enough protein in your diet. Here are a few thing I throw into my kale shake.

Fruits

-  Slice Pineapple ( Vitamin C, Vitamin B6)
-  Handful of Blueberries (Antioxidants)
- 1 Pear
- 1 Peaches (Antioxidant and Vitamin C and A)
- 2 Bananas (Vitamin B6, C, Manganese, Fiber, Potassium)
Vegetables
-  3 Stalks Kale (make sure to get organic kale because non organic kale absorbs a lot of pesticides)
-  3 Inches of Aloe Vera (Electrolytes and many more health benefits)
- 1 Carrot (Potassium, Vitamin A, B6, Manganese)
- 1 stick Celery (Vitamin K, Folate, Vitamin A, Potassium, Molybdenum, Fiber, Vitamin C, Manganese, Calcium, Vitamin B2, Tryptophan , Magnesium, Vitiamin B5)
-  Handful of spinach (Vitamin K, Vitamin A, Manganese, Folate, Magnesium, Iron, Vitamin C, Vitamin B2, Calcium, Potassium, Vitamin B6, Tryptophan, Vitamin E, Fiber, Copper, Vitamin B1, Protein  Phosphorus, Zinc, Choline, Omega-3 fats, Vitamin B3, Selenium)

Throw it all in a blender and drink daily and you'll be noticing the health benefits in no time. Try to buy as many of the products as you can in organic because of all the harsh pesticides that kill off some of the nutrition stored.
